Opened in 1926, the beautiful inn quickly became a sought-after destination for motorists visiting the redwoods. Join us Friday evening, July 24th at the inn for a special tasting of Joseph Jewell’s Humboldt Wines alongside additional producers from the area.

Take a journey to Phelps Vineyard, a rugged, far-out vineyard with incredible views and Pinot Noir that makes farming this challenging site more than worth the trouble.
Tickets are limited! Price includes transportation to and from the Historic Benbow Inn to Phelps Vineyard, a private tour of the vineyard site, wine tasting and a picnic lunch.

Please note: We will be walking in the vineyard so please dress accordingly and wear good hiking shoes. The trip to Phelps Vineyard takes about an hour each way, with about 45 minutes on a road that climbs from roughly 300 feet to close to 2,500 in elevation. Please be advised of these travel conditions.
