Gratitude and Giving Back November is National Gratitude Month. It's also National Prematurity Awareness Month. With both in mind, we are sharing a personal story, and a cause that is very important to us. As many of you know, my wife Lily and I have three daughters. What many of you probably don’t know is that our second daughter, Monroe, was born a micro-preemie. On November 28, 2017, at around 10 p.m., Monroe entered the world at just 26 weeks gestation—nearly three months premature. She weighed only 1 pound, 11 ounces, and measured about 11 inches long. To say that her arrival was unexpected would be an understatement. Lily’s pregnancy had been incredibly challenging, very different from her pregnancy with our first daughter, Harlow.
