When do Club benefits begin?

As soon as you sign up for the wine club, your discounts will automatically be applied on any order, online or otherwise. We also offer complimentary tastings and discounts from the first day you join. 

What’s the difference between joining the Wine Club and the Subscription?

Joseph Jewell wine club members receive access to wines as they are released, two or three times per year. We extend 15-20% discounts on these regular shipments and any orders placed in between club shipments. We are grateful that most Club members stay with us for many years, and we ask for at least 12 months membership in exchange for the generous discounts we offer. 

The Summer Subscription sprang out of requests for warm-weather wines to be delivered throughout the summer. There is no long-term commitment and you do not have to join the Club. However, Club members who join the Summer Subscription receive their club discount on these shipments. For everyone in the Summer Subscription, two-day air shipping is deeply discounted during these warm months to ensure your wine arrives fresh.

What if I find myself with too much wine?

You can skip shipments after your first year of membership, or put your wine club on hold for up to one year. In exchange for the generous discounts and complimentary tastings, we do ask that you stay with the Club for at least 12 months (or preferably forever). 

Can I pick up at the winery?

Yes, each wine club release will be followed up with a club-member-only pick-up party you can choose to attend, otherwise, we will hold your club to be picked up at your convenience within 30 days. If not picked up in 30 days, you will be notified that we are shipping your wines and that your card will be charged for shipping fees.

Can I ship wine to friends and family?

Yes!  You even have an option for a Gift message which we will hand write on a JJW notecard and ship to the address and date requested.  Joseph Jewell Wines make great birthday, thank you or employee gifts!

When do I receive my wines after my credit card is charged? And what if the shipment date doesn’t work for me to retrieve the package?

We typically ship within a week of charging your credit card, if weather permits. If the ship date for the club doesn’t work for your schedule, no problem! Simply email us your preferred ship date and we will reschedule your package.

Do you ship to my state?

We can ship to each state except: North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee or Utah.

How can I track my shipment?

We will send the tracking number to the email on file to enable you to follow your wines and plan their receipt. If you have a cell number on file, we will also text you with the tracking number!

What address should I use for shipping?

An adult signature is required to receive alcohol and also keep in mind weather conditions in case your package arrives before you can get to it. Many customers prefer to ship to their place of business, if permitted, so someone is always available to sign.

What if my shipment arrived damaged?

Despite our best efforts to secure wine shipments, breakage sometimes happen. Contact us at wineclub@josephjewell.com and we will resolve the situation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To receive access to special pricing included in the Joseph Jewell Wine Club, we ask for a one-year commitment. After one year, members may skip or cancel shipments before their card is charged. Reminder emails for upcoming shipments will be sent before your card is charged.

Members must be 21 years of age to purchase and receive wine shipments. All wine shipments require an adult signature (21+) upon delivery.

Members are responsible for providing a shipping address where someone 21 or older is available to sign for delivery and where wine shipments can be successfully received. It is the Member’s responsibility to notify the winery of any cancellation requests or changes to shipping address, billing information, or contact details before shipment processing.

Wine can only be sold directly to customers in states that have passed reciprocal shipping legislation, and additional restrictions and limitations may apply.

The credit card holder agrees that their card will be billed for the cost of wine and/or merchandise ordered, plus any applicable taxes, shipping, and handling before shipment. By joining the Wine Club, the Member authorizes Joseph Jewell Wines to charge the card on file for club shipments and related fees and agrees to perform the obligations set forth in the card issuer’s contract.

The Member authorizes the winery to act as their agent to engage a common carrier to deliver wine on their behalf. Once the shipment has been transferred to the carrier, responsibility for receiving the shipment and complying with delivery requirements transfers to the Member.

If a shipment is redirected to or held at a carrier access point (such as a UPS Access Point), the Member is responsible for timely pickup of the package and for any carrier fees associated with holding or redirecting the shipment.

Carriers typically make up to three delivery attempts for shipments requiring an adult signature. If delivery cannot be completed, or if a shipment is refused, unclaimed, undeliverable, or otherwise returned to the winery for any reason (including failure to retrieve packages from carrier access points), the shipment will be considered a returned order.

Returned or refused shipments will be refunded for the product amount only once the package has been received back at the winery and inspected. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Returned or refused shipments may also be subject to a $50 return/restocking fee to cover carrier return charges and handling.

Wines not picked up from the winery after 60 days will be shipped to the shipping address on file, and applicable shipping fees will be charged to the card on file.

Joseph Jewell Wines reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time.

Agreement to Terms
By joining the Joseph Jewell Wine Club, placing an order, or maintaining an active club membership, the Member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Wine Club Terms and Conditions, including billing authorization, shipping policies, and fees associated with returned or refused shipments.
